When I was very young, my parents moved to a rural plot of land. We lived off grid in campers and built our own house from the ground up. We didn’t have television, so from an early age my mother kept my sister and I entertained with art projects. That childhood gave me a close connection to nature, a passion for artistic expression and the knowledge that I could do hard things.
I refined my artistic skills at the University of Arizona through their Bachelor of Fine Arts program: Visual Communications with a focus on Illustration, graduating in 2012.
After graduation, I flew to Alaska, bought a motorcycle and rode it to the bottom of Argentina, an adventure that would last almost two years. Upon returning to the states, I fell into event logistics and volunteer coordination, so I am very familiar with project management and timelines. I have overseen the construction of a temporary remote desert airport with frequent white-out sandstorms and managed hundreds of volunteers for event setup, operation and tear down during intense weather and other challenging circumstances.
More recently I have settled into family life in beautiful Truckee California and I am refocusing my energies onto the arts, graphic design and wanting to pursue larger mural installations.
